Description
King Pasenadi of Kosala imprisoned an innocent minister. The prisoner was wise. He realized that this was the fruit of an action done in previous lives. ‘Why should I defile my mind? Why not make good use of the time at hand?’ He started practising Vipassana which he had learnt from some Bhikkhu. As he continued to practice, his Vipassana grew stronger and he became a sotapanna, a stream enterer. His new life began. When the king realized his folly, he released the minister from jail.
