Description
Vishakha’s younger sister Sujata was married to banker Anathapindika’s son. Sujata was very proud of being the daughter of a very rich banker. She was argumentative, disrespectful and insolent in her behavior in the in-laws’ house. The clamor of quarrels became a constant in the family. Once the Buddha went to her house and with great affection explained how to become an ideal housewife. This had a positive impact on her and she was drawn to the Dhamma. Her behavior changed. Peace and happiness started prevailing in the house once again.
