Description
When the Buddha attained the age of 80, Mara reminded him that he had earlier said that when his bhikkhus, bhikkhunis, laymen and laywomen become expert in teaching Vipassana meditation, he will attain Parinibbāna. Now the time has come. As per your wish Dhamma Teachers are available now. You should attain Parinibbāna. Then the Buddha decided to attain Mahāparinibbāna.
